Another important thing to take into consideration when you are thinking about starting a business is if you are going to have business partners or if you are going to go about it alone.  There are many advantages and disadvantages to both.  One of the biggest advantages of going into business alone is that you are able to make your own decisions and can call the shots.  If the business is your dream and you have a certain way you want things to work then this may be the best way.  Having a partner or partners also has its advantages.  It often means having more financial backing and many find comfort in knowing everything is not resting just on their shoulders.
